On the 23rd of February 2022, Proptech BNE. announced it was joining forces with Something Digital and River City Labs to launch “Something Fest.”. Queensland’s only digital, innovation and technology festival running from the 24th to the 28th of October.
The festival will showcase Queensland’s leading digital, innovation and technology ecosystems with a range of events spanning from workshops, networking, conferences, and forums with a focus on amplifying future industries and connecting digital/technology solutions with customers.
The week will kick off with Something Digital which will bring together the entire digital innovation ecosystem – from startups and small businesses to large corporations, government, and educational institutions. Over 4 days, Something Digital will feature Roundtables, a 2-day flagship Conference, Open Studios, and The Something School.
Halfway through the week, the festival will unite with a celebration of networking and collision as Something Tech kicks off. Something Tech will focus on the Queensland technology and startup sectors demonstrating Technology solving industry problems, with tech showcases on the innovation out of Queensland, supported by expert insights and panels.
Running under the Something Tech umbrella, Proptech BNE. will deliver our first industry deep dive, a half-day Founders’ Conference for the Australian property technology economy. The finale of the week on Friday culminates in the 2022 RiverPitch which will see up to ten of the state’s star business founders pitch to a room of investors and the best of Australia’s startup ecosystem.
Proptech BNE. is privileged to be the first of what it hopes to be many industry-specific verticals that plug into the broader digital, technology, and innovation festival.
