ASX-listed proptech PEXA appoints Scott Butterworth as new Chief Financial and Growth Officer
PEXA Group have announced the appointment of Scott Butterworth (pictured) to the newly expanded role of Chief Financial and Growth Officer from 1 July 2023.
Butterworth joined PEXA in October 2021 as its Chief Data & Analytics Officer and then Chief Growth Officer. Previously, he was the CFO of ASX–listed law firm Slater & Gordon, where he sponsored a range of digital and data–driven growth and value–creation initiatives. He brings more than 25 years of corporate experience, having worked in executive roles at Boston Consulting Group, National Australia Bank Group, Westpac, and Clydesdale Bank, where he served as both CFO and Chief Data Officer.
Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Glenn King, said Mr Butterworth had a demonstrated track record of delivery. “In just over 12 months, Scott has established himself as a trusted leader, deploying his broad knowledge base to generate continued growth in enterprise value,” King said.
“We have delivered value to our investors, community, and our people in creating a world–class property exchange. Whilst we continue to nurture and protect the foundations of the exchange, we are focused on our growth plans to harness and capture new key business markets. Scott will play a significant role in our growth story.”
“This appointment also reflects our strategic executive succession planning framework which informed Scott’s initial appointment to accelerate growth initiatives in both domestic and international markets,” he said.
